Sabah Puteri Umno goes for young voters in Batu Sapi by-election

Kota Kinabalu, Oct 16 (Bernama): Sabah Puteri Umno will focus on garnering the support of young voters, especially women, to ensure victory of the Barisan Nasional (BN) in the Batu Sapi parliamentary election on Nov 4, its chief Musliati Moslimin said on Saturday.

She said the young voters were a dominant group, and efforts would be made to get their support at various community and welfare activities to be organised by the wing.

"Puteri Umno is in the midst of reaching the young voters to explain to them government policies. This is to prevent them from being manipulated by the opposition, especially in this era of information technology where they are exposed to all kinds of 'lies' circulated via the Internet," she said in a statement.
