THIS the start, not the finish of your journey.
SAPP Presiden Datuk Yong Teck Lee accepts his first electoral defeat in six outings and vows to continue his ‘Sabah for Sabahan’ struggle.
“ Yes, this is my first defeat. But our party values number six as it means ‘resilience’ you fall, and you get up again,” said Datuk Yong.
Next GE is coming very soon could be in a matter of within another 6 or 7 months.
ReplyDeleteNow to carry out a post-mortem to check any weakness within party is more viable.Analyse previous Batu Sapi by-election and reasons of Sabahan not stand in united with the party.why? It was hardly above 15% overall for SAPP and 25% for PR against BN about 60%!
In GE SAPP need to strengthen its strategy and move in full force if go for 40 seats in Sabah.
Must start now never be too late and search within party by setting up proper teams always be ready at any times at any places!
Look like in Sabah still not ready for many to understand their stand with SAPP or PR!
From the distribution percentage of remaining aproximate 4,000 votes one can see voters support towards BN,PR and SAPP in ratio.
ReplyDeleteDoubt how many Sandakan voters understand Sabah autonomy include Chinese voters!Look like most BN support came from high percent of bumiputras and also majority of chinese votes.
Many factors contributed to that other than just $$$ main factor.Their short sight, mindset, social and political understanding about sabah as sabahan is vital.
Selain masalah $$$di prk Batu Sapi, kedudukkan pemimpin Muslim dalam SAPP seperti Datuk Haji Mohd Noor Mansor, mantan Timbalan Menteri Persekutuan Abdillah Haji Adul Hamid, Haji Saidi Lampoh, Jul Pitting dll perlu diberi tempat supaya pengundi Islam ada keyakinan sokong SAPP...buatlah betul2 'multiracial' utk menghadapi PRU13 dlm masa terdekat.
ReplyDeleteUntuk menyertai gagasan PR ketika menghadapi PRU13 jangan bermimpi sama sekali kerana perjuangan SAPP mesti tegas dan 'stick' kpd keputusan SAPP berjuang atas prinsip parti tempatan.
SAPP & Sabahan,
ReplyDeleteOther than facing UMNO,BN in election learn a lesson PR include Anwar and DAP are all spoilers. They play dirty tricks to underage sabahan like fool.Datuk Yong should have no more deal with them. Guard Sabah Autonomy and fight to last!
http://twitter.com/limlipeng/status/29666653441
http://twitter.com/limlipeng/status/29662420466
with 5,000 illegals holding mykads and 1615 postal votes, BN is holding the trump card.
ReplyDeleteWith all the cash cows, government promises, votes buying, massive manpower, TV and media control.
This is indeed the mother of all dirtiest by-elections in Malaysia, probably top ten in the world.
SAPP,even though now not in BN for Datuk Yong already performed well to gain 2031(13%) because he was challenged by PR/BN with heavyweights and just bully. Moreover to fight BN in Sanadakan! For Yong and SAPP must fight on in the state to last.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion,if SAPP can't win never let PR or DAP opposition get a chance inlude MP seat for KK only one in Sabah. They are arrogant.Just leave people voue it to BN for meantimes at least.
What good for PR also to look down and playout SAPP.Do you think without Sabah PR can go to Putrajaya.Die-hard and jump to dead with them in next GE if in BN stronghold since PR condemn SAPP as small party.
Sure can make DAP close door in Sabah like what they said to SAPP!
Hahaha,
ReplyDeleteWith the conclusion of Batu Sapi by election, SAPP still wanna go for 40 seats. I bet SAPP be crawling back to BN beri soon
Ooooh!!! no no no...becoz SAPP does not belong to single person..but apa juga dia punya keputusan melalui suara Supreme Council. Tapi kata crawling back to BN...oooohh no kita bukan bodoh baaa...BN sekarang pun sakit cuma nampak dari luar mcm sihat je? Kita SAPP dan rakyat Sabah got MARUAH baahh. Dulu sdh kena tipu kena p balik lagi...Oooooh no no no//
ReplyDeleteAs a Sandakan folk, let me remind u guys something,
ReplyDelete1)Batu Sapi not and never will represent the Voice of SANDAKAN's peoples due to most of their VOTES came from the illegal immigrants.
We still have LIBARAN, SANDAKAN, ELOPURA, KNABATANGAN and other DUNS.
2)Let us wait for the coming General Election and we'll start our true fight along with the other big cities around SABAH.
3)As one of the Generation Y in Sandakan, we knew who or which party that trying to cheat and manipulated the folks, and believe us we'll kick their asses soon.
4)NO MORE West/Peninsular Parties in Sabah after this. This is our place, our cities and our resources so what the hell? The most important is this is NORTH BORNEO/SABAH!
SAPP BOLEH!!!
All batu sapi folks and voters, i hope u guys happy with the hands out from BN. But will it last? will it make u rich forever? soon u guys will run out of the handsout and crying for help. u folks made a very big mistake, u guys receive monnies from thives and still can be happy inside. Gods know who to punish next.
ReplyDeleteBATU SAPI ;- Syabas dan Tahniah YONG TECK LEE. Tuan TIDAK KALAH kerana PERJUANGAN SUCI INI BARU BERMULA.
SESUNGGUHNYA.., rejim Barisan Nasional mengalami TSUNAMI seluruh anggota tubuh badan bila berhadapan dengan 'SABAH FOR SABAHAN'.
Mohon Mencadang.
Betul anonymous 10.06PM. Taniah and Congratulation to Datuk Yong and the rest SAPP members. Perjuangan kita baru bermula.
ReplyDeleteSAPP = LAWAN tetap LAWAN!!
Greeting from,
Sandakan
Why Sapp lost are some real factors.
ReplyDelete1. BN machinery was well equipped (in fact almost all of malaysia's component parties played their part by sending their most efficient campaigners) aka manpower
2. PR machinery has many imports to settle in Batu Sapi and campaign.
3. BN is against SAPP, PR is also against SAPP, both choose SAPP as their main target.
4. Character assination of Yong by his ex-deputy and dog, Tham Nyip Shen, who told untold stories with twisted lies against Yong, in the news, blogs and ceramahs...all sponsored by BN and paid well for those attending. Tham has used this strategy last time he won the state seat against PBS...you come you are paid RM50, you bring along a friend, you also get RM50 and your friend get RM50...there is no limit to how much you can get...so the crowd will grow...and then Tham or other speakers will brainwash you with their repeated attacks against their political opponent, and in this case, Yong was the target...Tham knew that people will believe him becoz he was once in Sapp, whether he speaks the truth or otherwise, people will become more and brainwashed after few sessions of ceramah.
5. PR on the other hand, tried to protray Yong and SAPP are cahoots with BN...by whispering campaign and in ceramahs, and questioning Yong's autonomy and Sabah for Sabahans slogan. As Dap is well known as an opposition party while aligned with PKR and Pas, people will also believe what they said.
6. BN with their secret weapon none other than $$$ ...carpet bombing have made their rounds giving out tons of stolen money to the kampungs into the wee hours at the eve of the election. (No thanks to the SPR which openly admitted they cannot do much about vote buying)
7.Sources said that BN gave from RM500 to RM1000 per voter and RM3000 per household in the kampungs.
8.Town and Taman areas mostly Chinese were told to get their money from the various BN parties PBS, MCA, LDP, you will get RM100 from each of them.
9. Outstation voters around Sabah are paid RM400 to come to Batu Sapi whether they come by bus, taxi, car or air.
10. Drains and road repairs will be immediately executed.
11. Election Promises of more developments and grants.
12. BN's use of the TV1, TV2, TV3 and NTV7 for their campaign and the mainstream newspapers and other government online news portals (completely blocking news from the opposition especially Sapp).
maybe somemore...I may miss out...a black day for democracy in Sabah.

...SAPP "Fight to win" Sabah autonomy ....never trust semenanjung parties, be it UMNO, PKR, nor DAP ...
ReplyDeletePR said SAPP is a mosquito party, cannot do anything without Putrajaya ... PR don't dream of sitting in Putrajaya without SAPP's help bah ...
DAP is so malacious, instead of attacking BN candidate, their biggest enemy, it attacked SAPP by whispering that SAPP will return to BN which is utterly rubbish ....if so, why should SAPP come out in the first place ?
let Sabahan know the 2 giant semenanjung based parties PR/BN are afraid of Yong/SAPP, so their main objective in Batu Sapi was to finish off SAPP and Batu SApi voters fell into their traps ...
Support SAPP in the next GE ....
Sabah will continue to fight and as convention is ongoing this may be an important messages to put forward immediately after Batu Sapi by-election.Hopefully matters will be channeled through local media to give a clear picture to every sabahan on many issues raised at the campaign.Where in future sabahan should stand during coming election for a MP or State representative as Adun!
ReplyDeleteThrough observation not a single matter had been voiced about Autonomy or Malaysia agreement for Sabah by many MPs not from Sabah in BN or PR.Only many petty little issues about kampong developments, repairing roads, providing attractive $$$,falling bridge etc etc.It give us an indepth look about political mindset of many MPs and their understanding of role and responsibilities as MP or relevancy in campaigning parliamentary election!
Briefly for understanding only SAPP had always like to guard the Autonomy of Sabah and protect the state's right under Malaysia Agreement since 1963.
As an example I should say is not wrong to say "Sabah for Sabahan or Sabahan for Sabah" as many ministers and other in BN or PR from federal dislike but condemning SAPP for that.
AS an explanation go with example here...
Firstly,if we disagree with Sabah Autonomy just could be as good Autonomy for other State as a case of a CM being appointed to a State not from a local itself but a candidate from other States! This is a very straight issue all about Autonomy and its truth has been changed.
If anyone disagree then just post a question to ask will any State with MB accept appointing a Menteri Besar from outside State or a Sabahan to take charge!Surely one will reject and say no.The basis and respect to Autonomy is not only needed in Sabah but with other state too but not many see it!
Secondly, one had said SAPP anti-federal and 'all-malaysian for Sabah' instead of SAPP 'Sabah for Sabahan' to redress Sabah issues. This could be a misleading statement and accusing SAPP or many Sabahan wrongly. Why? Since Sabah is part of Malaysia and unless Sabah rights has been abused otherwise in future Sabahan may become PM in Malaysia.Would you or anyone doubt this eligibility and capability? Why not? And can anyone tell if he is with MCA or DAP or other as example cannot become a President in that party with the strong support!Do not drag Sabahan as malaysian overall with this right!
Add here many MPs who can notice and understand their role should redress and stand with Sabahan to convey our standing on Autonomy and Malaysia Agreement in the parliament instead. Here shall include the state assembly Adun to safeguard and raise the issue of Autonomy in State Assembly protecting any state's Autonomy.
Before Malaysia move ahead as we can see the understanding of parliamentary and state election has not been acknowledged but merely small irrelevant issues of gaining votes and support in many recent campaign.
Is this what we are heading towards 2020 and telling other 'We Boleh'?
This should be conveyed through the convention to awaken Sabahan of recent events in by-election.
Sabahan from abroad
ReplyDeleteI wonder if YTL will still contest 40 plus seats the next GE?
ReplyDeleteIt is fortunate that YTL did not lose his deposit as well.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason why SAPP is in third place is because SAPP made a big mistake in placing YTL as the candidate. Repeat the same mistake again and surely SAPP will lose big in the next GE.
ReplyDeleteSince the GE13 is just around the corner, it's best for all parties to focus in getting supports from the people.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to BN! Make sure BN do some action in fulfilling the promises they made to the people.
ReplyDeleteMore than 5000 PTI with MyKad sure will vote for BN. Congratulation to BN, next GE this number will go up to 10,000 people.
HIDUP SAPP.
Kenapa Yong mesti malu kalah diBatu Sapi? Itu keputusan rakyat yg diorchestrated by Tham of BN n others...Yong patut dipuji kerana berani menghadapi segala cabaran dan rintangan demi hak RAKYAT Sabah...kalau bukan Yong siapa lagi berani membela rakyat Sabah!...semua pun gila angkat kaki mahu buru kekayaan utk diri sendiri...cowards!!!
ReplyDeleteSikap Datuk VK Liew Presiden LDP memuji muji kemenangan BN dan Najib membuktikan Liew masih benci kpd Musa. VK Liew haruslah urus rumahnya LDP betul2 sebelum mengkritik Datuk YTL konon gagal mendapat sokongan padu dari masyarakat pengundi Cina. Klu Liew betul2 mahu menguji sokongan Cina kpd Yong adalah lebih baik VK Liew letak jawatan diParlimen Sandakan dan adakan prk lagi utk menguji kekuatan YTL.
ReplyDeleteVK Liew perlu dengar apa yg diungkapkan Teo Chee Kang selepas VK Liew berucap didepan Musa konon LDP menyokong kepimpinan MUsa. Ucapan VK Liew semacam melemparkan TAHI ke muka Teo Chee Kang kerana tidak sebulu dgn kepimpinan Musa diSabah...tetapi kenapakah VK Liew berucap macam 'dua nada' atau ';double standard'. Apa punya Presiden macam tu? Adakah VK Liew benar2 protect kebajikan masyarakat Cina Sandakan? agus letak jawatan dan adakan prk lagi utk Parlimen Sandakan...to proof that VK Liew has a good n strong supporters in that area.
Maybe BN really more supporter in Sabah, that why opposition cannot conquer Sabah fro, BN. Batu Sapi can be some of the analysis for opposition, that Sabahan like BN. BN win majority in Batu Sapi is 9000++ voter, PKR 3000++ and SAPP 2000++. We can look here the majority win ini batu Sapi. So, we don't want any rumour more in this by-election. Accept what the reality.
ReplyDeleteFor SAPP, hope SAPP can do the best for the next CE 13 coming soon. SAPP as a local opposition must do the best for rakyat.
SAPP must more fight for rakyat not just Sabah for Sabahan. Is nothing effect for us if only SAPP fight for that issues. Look BN they try to closed to the people for help them. So, whatever we all support for the best party.
Sabah for Sabahan and autonomi isu masih relevan bersampingan dengan masalah 20 erkara yg belum diselesaikan sejak 47 tahun lalu. Hak kita rakyat Sabah ditindas dan ditipu. Ingat!!! kita bukan Merdeka dibawah Malaysia...tetapi kita Sabah, Sarawak dan Singapura dijemput oleh Tunku Abdul Rahman membentuk Malaysia bersama Malaya yg sdh pun merdeka tahun 1957. So, meaning to say that...kita tiga wilayah Sabah, Sarawak dan Malaya (singapura sdh keluat thn 1965) share dlm satu Malaysia or equal partnership.
Sebaliknya...mereka anggap kita Sabah n Sarawak mcm bukan equal partnership spt yg mereka lakukan kpd kita, So, kita bangkitkan hak kita mengikut apa yg termaktub dlm Perlembagaan Persekutuan...apakah ia salah atau tidak relevan jika kita rakyat Sabah menuntut hak kita!!!
Keputusan dan diketahui, so terimalah keputusan ni seadanya.
ReplyDeleteApapun, all the best kepada BN dan bersiap sedialah utk next GE pula:)
ReplyDeleteLook at the muslim voters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srjqUYPuQNI Of course la BN win..
ReplyDeleteKepada yang belum mahu menerima penjelasan YTL dan SAPP syabaslah kerana kamu terus menyokong BN...YTL dan rakan2nya sdh pun menyatakan penerimaannya tentang keputusan pengundi diParlimen Batu Sapi kerana tiada siapa boleh mengubahnya lagi selepas prk kecuali pengundi pada PRU13.
ReplyDeleteApa yang dijelaskan YTL ialah cara pengendalian pilihanraya diMalaysia oleh SPR banyak perkara yg meragukan namun YTL tdk sedikit pun kata dia bawa perkara RASUAH dan salahlaku kepada MAHKAMAH...kerana biarlah rakyat sendiri yg tahu menilainya.
Saya menyokong YTL walaupun saya seorang MUSLIM Bumiputra Sabah adalah kerana kegigihannya utk menyuarakan ketidak telusan pemimpin KL sejak 47 tahun lalu menghormati hak rakyat Sabah yg termaktub didalam 20 Perkara....saya mengikuti kepincangan ini sejak PBS berkuasa lagi pada tahun 1985. Yang menyedihkan kita sehingga sekarang none of our Sabahan leaders seen figthing for our RIGHT except Datuk Dr Jeffrey and now Datuk YTL. Kalau kita tdk goncang KL siapa lagi...sekarang ini UMNO sdh injak2 kepala kita.
Sebenarnya Sabah bukanlah 'fixed deposit' kekuatan BN tetapi 'fixed deposit' utk mengumpul kekayaan mereka diSabah....kita rakyat Sabah terus 'tahi gigi'.
Selamat siang semua kawan2 ku diSabah.
ReplyDeletewell done BN !! Time for the opposition parties to reflect what had gone wrong .....
ReplyDeleteMany of us and is important for every Sabahan after recent by-election and with current events since after last GRE ask yourself:-
ReplyDeleteWhere we stand now 'as opposition to the opposition with Sabah for Sabahan' or just happy with other!
Leaders come and go as we see but this 'Sabah for Sabahan' to fight on with the future of Sabah!
From http://www.mysarawak.org/2010/11/07/ansari-demands-apology-over-%E2%80%98baseless%E2%80%99-remark.html
ReplyDeleteAnsari again said that as far as SAPP was concerned, PKR maintains its stand that they should not waste time trying to do it alone but instead they should come back to Pakatan Rakyat (PR) immediately and discuss how they could work together because time is not on their side.
“We should not waste our resources and time trying to compete with each other, we should work with each other and compliment each other. Come up to areas of agreement, identify the seats because PR can sit down among themselves but that is not enough.
“We need SAPP and the other Opposition parties to come and join PR because in this case PR works as a team and this cooperation was seen when top leaders from PKR, PAS and DAP were campaigning in Sandakan for the by-election.
What after all 'screwed-up' by PR leaders yet seeking to 'marry' SAPP? True YTL said:"Boleh kawan tetapi berkahwin belum masanya"!
SAPP really must think twice for not 'drop into sea with PR'!
Well, its a good that SAPP never gave up and the other party should also do the same. For BN congratulation and this is not the end of your struggle for being a good party to the people, this is just the beginning!
ReplyDeleteSabahans will unite under the only one pure local opposition party SAPP to topple the corrupted Be End in the coming GE13. Batu Sapi is just a minor setback and SAPP should learn the lesson how to counter lies from PR and BN from Semenanjung.
ReplyDeleteThose Sabahans who supported party from malaya either PR or BN, no doubt they still prefer to be a sapi ditarik hidung for the past 47 years by the malayan as their pride and dignity already gone to the rubbish bin.
From past years many had learned SAPP style and its political culture.
ReplyDeleteIn nomination for high posts always carry out return with no contest for its key position!!!
It become doubtful to many what kind of political concept with this arrangement. Many of faithful one has turned away.
Time to change otherwise difficult to win support of young generation to succeed in future.
Always practicing same policy and tactics would be hopeless for such a party.
ReplyDeleteForming a third bloc as saying currently in public could be timely and a possible vision for both Yong and Zaid in politics. This could be a new transformation in political arena of Malaysia.
ReplyDeleteAs known Yong always has vision for 'Sabah autonomy' whereby Zaid is after another vision of 'Malaysia for all rakyat'.Thus this can be a viable new 1 Nation 1Rakayat mission alternative to 1Malaysia vision by BN.Both won't change history but can make better vision for history of future Malaysia!
Also it may provide another alternative platform and choice to balance between any disgreement of present political propaganda on BN or PR by many rakyat.
Yong lose in Batu Sapi P185 MP by-election and Zaid too in Hulu Selangor P94 recently.Though both were loser but it still possible with the vision if they really wish to create history of future Malaysia today.
Both too with profession in laws and free from any allegation so far in any bribery or corruptive practice. Both have good experience with BN once and facing with PR more recently in politics!
If this could be the vision should another National Party be formed soon thus may suggest to call it 'NAPP' National People or Progressive Party at national level as third bloc with possible joining by SAPP,PRM,Makkal Sathi and other.Better still if there emerge another Sarawak party to complete this new political alliance opening a new Malaysia era in politics.
This may see a rush in GRE which is anticipated to come about in next 6 or 7 months time.It may not be an easy task to be completely ready for coming GRE.But more recently what we can see it had happened in Australia independents too could play a key role if with strong grassroots support not to mention a strong third bloc!
Anything is viable and possible in politics and a change just need to start from its first step.
If God willing it will never be late for both Yong and Zaid to turn in at table and making a come back again before next election soon!

PR(PKR-DAP-PAS)should go for Sabah Parliament Seats and Local Parties should alliance and go for 60 DUN in Sabah. SAPP goes for 40 DUN and the rest 20 DUN.
ReplyDeleteOnly by this way, we are able to take over current BN government.
R U mean no Parliament seats at all allocate to SAPP? Sound not so right every other state parties have few bah!
ReplyDeleteDAP and PKR should packed their bag and GET LOST from Sabah.
ReplyDeleteSabah should be managed and governed by local parties.
Whether Yong,Zaid or Tee Kiat...
ReplyDeleteThey never retreat neither should retire with need from rakyat.Remember our Ex-PM Mahathir started late at 55 before become PM!
