Who is actually the spoiler?
PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has described Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) as a spoiler in the upcoming Batu Sapi by-election for also contesting.
She said the voters should therefore choose PKR which was representing Pakatan Rakyat, the real opposition, in facing the BN in the by-election.
"In any election, it's always not easy for us to compete against the might of BN but we won in Sibu (Sarawak)," she said after the nomination of candidates for the Batu Sapi by-election in Sandakan today.
The parliamentary state seat by-election will see a three-cornered contest involving BN candidate Linda Tsen, PKR's Ansari Abdullah, and former Sabah chief minister Yong Teck Lee from SAPP.
PAS secretary-general Mustafa Ali, meanwhile, said it could not be ascertained yet whether SAPP would dent Pakatan Rakyat's chances in Batu Sapi.
However, he said, PAS' election machinery was ready to ensure victory for the opposition pact's candidate.
DAP national deputy chairman Dr Tan Seng Giaw hoped the voters would give the chance for the PKR candidate to represent them and voice their problems in parliament.- Bernama

ReplyDeleteThe sleepy start to the Batu Sapi by-election campaign was jolted by a bit of drama this morning when PKR candidate Ansari Abdullah fell into the sea after a wooden jetty he was on collapsed.
Ansari managed to make his way to dry land soaked and unscathed, but his two mobile phones were damaged.
According to one of the PKR campaign coordinator Sim Tze Tsin, Ansari was still in good spirits after the incident.
"Ansari was insistent that he visited some of the poorest areas in Sandakan to appeal for votes. Despite the accident, he is in very high spirits.
"We don't see this as a bad omen, instead it has clearly shows that the BN has failed to look after the populace, let alone bring development. They can't even maintain a jetty," said Sim.
Sim described Pulau Timbang as an island off the coast of Sandakan which has 227 Malay-Bajau voters who are living in dilapidated houses.
"The incident today shows that the government is not caring. People depend on this jetty every day. School kids use it on the way to school," he said.
Ansari, the Tuaran PKR division chief, is facing SAPP president Yong Teck Lee and BN candidate Linda Tsen in a three-corner fight for the Batu Sapi parliamentary seat.
Who's spoiler? PKR or SAPP....sudah undi baru tahu maaa...kita orang Sabah SAPP parti tempatan mesti mau tanding itu hak kita Sabahan...parti Semenanjong peerrraah!!!

Biar betul awak ni...aha..itu kerja PBS/BN ..berapa lama sudah perintah Batu Sapi..kenapa masih jambatan kayu?mana itu peruntukan billion2 RM?Macam2 rancangan Malaysia..tapi Sabah paling miskin...pemimpin BN/PBS/UMNO kaya-kaya....kecewa betul dgn BN ni....
ReplyDeleteAnsari sudah dapat 5 juta dari musang bin tidak aman menanding atas logo PKR untuk memecah-belahkan undi pembangkang. PKR = PARTI KACAU RAKYAT bukan untuk menang di batu sapi. Pergilah mampus dan keluar dari Sabah tanah airku.
ReplyDeleteLAMBAT atau CEPAT.., pasti PKR akan IKUT JEJAK UMNO untuk buat KACAU BILAU HARTA PRIBUMI SABAH kerana FAKTA SEJARAH TIDAK BOLEH DIUBAH iaitu ORANG SEMENANJUNG pandang RENDAH PADA URANG SABAH.

TOKOH-TOKOH POLITIK SABAH yang dibarisi oleh PBS, UPKO, PBRS & LDP hanya BERDIAM DIRI dan LEBIH TERUK lagi bila mana MEREKA MASUK dan SOKONG itu BARISAN NASIONAL. Kenapa mereka DIAM BISU..? KERANA mereka ada HABUAN untuk KUMPUL KEKAYAAN melalui PERUNTUKAN yang BERBILION tetapi tidak SAMPAI dengan sempurna KEPADA RAKYAT disebabkan BUDAYA UMNO yang MENGHALALKAN CARA.
PARTI TEMPATAN SABAH TIDAK BOLEH DIHARAP kecuali SAPP yang BERANI MENENTANG umpama PADUKA MAT SALLEH, SI AKI ANTANOM dan lain-lain PENDEKAR dari SEMUA KAUM PRIBUMI SABAH.
WAHAI URANG SABAH... mari BANGKIT dan REFORMASI kearah MENYOKONG PEMBENTUKAN NEGARA BANGSA MALAYSIA sebagaimana TERMETERI KEMAS dalam PERLEMBAGAAN pembentukan MALAYSIA pada 16 SEPTEMBER, 1963 dengan CARA TUMBANGKAN BARISAN NASIONAL dan PBS yang telah JAUH TERSESAT dan MENGAJARKAN AJARAN SESAT untuk MENJAHANAMKAN perkara 20.

Come on Azizah, Sapp is not a spoiler, PKR is definitely a spoiler in this case.
ReplyDeleteThere is still time to withdraw from the contest and draw your support to Sapp to win and change the political landscape for our Sabah people...don't be arrogant! Show your generosity and it will be return likewise.
Sapp is thinking on how to save Sabah and not to be still oppressed.
And you think PKR can win against PBS in a one on one fight in Batu Sapi? Maybe, if it's not Ansari. Definitely not, if it's Hassnar the 'gangster'!
